World Book Day costumes delight and inspire

Across the Lower School – imagination and creativity were on display when the students chose their favourite book characters to dress up as. World Book Day is always an excuse to raid the dressing up box but the real joy is in sharing favourite books with friends and celebrating stories and reading. We had visits from amazing authors:
Lou Kuenzler – Author of ‘My Family and Other Ghosts’, ‘The Incredible Shrinking Girl’ and many others!
SF Said – Author of the Varjak Paw books, and sci-fi novel ‘Phoenix’
Hannah Shaw – Author and illustrator of many books including ‘Bear on a Bike’ and ‘The Scruffs’
