**Please be aware that the deadline for Year 7 2021 applications has now passed, and due to the high amount of applications we have received, we are unable to consider any applications submitted after the deadline**
There are usually between 10 – 14 places available in Year 7 each year. We are looking for a mixed ability intake, in line with our ethos. We hold an assessment day in the November prior to entry (in Y6).
Those already registered with the school and on the waiting list are contacted in the spring of the year prior to the entry year and will be asked to fill in the Year 7 Entry Application form, for updated information. Other students are invited to apply. Please see below for timings of the entry process for those who have already applied.
Due to the current coronavirus restrictions, we have changed our Year 7 application process. Once the October 9 application deadline has passed, all applicants will receive an email with further information on the next stage of the process.
This will involve attaching two pieces of work (either done at home or in school) to an online form, together with an explanation of why the applicant has chosen those particular pieces. In addition, they will need to upload a short video about themselves. Once we have received all the forms, they will be assessed and we will invite 30-40 students in to the school for the next stage, which will include short verbal and non verbal reasoning online assessments, a creative writing assessment, group interviews, and team building exercises.
(Date of birth between 01.09.09 to 31.08.10)
The school offers a limited number of Bursaries for students coming into Year 7. There will be an opportunity to indicate on the application form if you would like to apply for Bursary funding, and forms will be sent out. For more information please contact the Bursary Manager on 020 8457 5209.
