Hatching Plans With Year 2

Year 2 had some new names on the register last term; Brian and Wilder two newly hatched Frizzle Chicks. Students hatched the chicks in school, and they spent their first couple of months living in the Year 2 classroom.

Teacher Natalie said: “The chicks joined us for circle time on the carpet where we made observations about how they have changed and thought of all the different adjectives we could use to describe them. The children wrote incredible information texts about the chicks and these were put up on the farm when the chicks went to live there.”
