If you’ve walked past the Lower School staff room recently you will have seen the striking, blue raindrops adorning the window.
These beautifully tactile objects were produced by YR4 students during their art sessions with Kat. The artwork reflects some of the issues they were looking at during their topic entitled ‘Environmental Warriors’. One thing they were particularly interested in was the human impact of climate change and the impact that climate change has on the world.
The artwork is made from willow, paper and colour pigment.
The children have written a thought provoking fact on each of the raindrops and children, parents and staff will often stop by and take a closer look at the artworks to read the text.
