KAStonbury Music Festival, July 1st 12:00-4:00 – Tickets still available!

23rd June 17

On 1st July we are holding the first ever KAStonbury Music Festival at King Alfred School to raise money for the music department.

We will be hosting the amazing Ibibio Sound Machine “the BEST live act in the country right now” according to BBC6 Music’s Lauren Laverne (and she should know!).

Together with acts from across our school community; including past pupils, musicians Oli Rockberger (Laura Mvula, Carly Simon, John Mayer) and Todd Oliver, with a smattering of parents (Tracy Kashi), staff (and the cheerleaders!) we will be having a ball on the fields from 12-4pm. We’ve got amazing food stalls, a fully licensed bar sponsored by Camden Town Brewery and Noble Rot Wine Bar and a Beat the Goalie, staffed by our friends from The Highland Games. With face painting, tattoos and craft stalls to browse, there’s something for everyone.

Ibibio Sound Machine are performing early in the afternoon c.1pm, so don’t arrive late and miss them!

Tickets cost £5 and are available at
