Vision and Hearing Screening

Our school nurses will be offering vision and hearing screenings for children in Reception and Year 2. Each session is relaxed and friendly. Your child will be joined by one or two other children from their class. Parents are not required to be present, but you are welcome to attend if you wish. The screenings will take place over the next two terms, and you will be notified by email from School Screener once the test has been completed.

Vision screening – There's no need for your child to know all the letters! The school nurse will notify you if any issues are identified.

Hearing screening – Your child’s hearing will be assessed using a portable audiometry device. The school nurse will inform you if there are any concerns.
