First Elected/ Appointed: 2021

Profession: Chartered Quantity Surveyor

About: I am an Old Alfredian and completed my A levels at the school in 2006, however my passion for King Alfred has remained instilled in me to this day. So much so, my son now attends the school too. My knowledge of King Alfred dates back to the 70s when my uncles also attended the school, and interestingly my dad helped build the original tree house! Following in their footsteps, during my time at KAS I partook in various charitable events and enjoyed trips to Cuba and China where I taught in a school and stayed with a local family.

After KAS I read Law at Canterbury University before completing my MSc in Quantity Surveying at Kingston in 2012. I have since achieved my chartership, becoming MRICS in 2016. I am now a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with experience in delivering major projects, high end residential and mixed-use schemes in London.

As a proud parent, my son Max joined reception this year and I now believe it is the perfect time to give back to the school and would like to ensure his experience and memories at the school are as fond as mine. For me, KAS was always a caring, fun and inclusive environment where I flourished because of the unique community created by the amazing teachers and setting, in addition to the input of all those involved with the school from parents and students to Old Alfredians. This close knit community sets KAS apart from many other schools, and is something which I hope my son will also become actively involved with as he progresses at the school.

I would like to be part of ensuring the site remains a unique setting for the current children whilst helping make any improvements that would amplify their experience at the school.
