About: l am excited by the prospect of supporting The King Alfred School’s mission as a Member of the School Council. I believe that KAS’s educational ethos and environment is uniquely suited to developing great individuals, especially during this period of dramatic transformation in educational challenges and opportunities.

I have witnessed KAS’s benefits first hand. My children (now Year 4 & Year 7) have been at KAS since Reception and the experience has improved them in every dimension, creating confident, curious and considerate individuals who I believe are prepared to lead successful lives and create a positive impact on society.

My professional experience has prepared me to work collaboratively with the school and the larger KAS Community to deliver outstanding outcomes. Over the past 15 years at Google in the UK, I have developed new businesses and run key operations, helping Google better serve organisations and individuals in the UK and Europe.

I will use my skills as a business builder and leader at Google in a commercial context to strengthen the School’s finances through continued operational excellence, while working with the School and the community to extend the School’s educational programmes beyond the Campus. Through all of this I will help ensure a balance between the School’s educational objectives and the opportunities for extension of the School’s mission. I am committed to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment for all members of the school community, and will support the school’s aims in this regard.
