Episode 14 of Alfredian Voices, What I REALLY Learnt at School is coming your way next Wednesday! We spoke with Stepahnie Young (OA 2010) and learned that she’s truly put to practice the KAS ethos in her career.
Having transitioned from a student to an educator herself, Stephanie spent eight years teaching before moving on to work at the Economist Educational Foundation. Here, she applies her background in education to develop resources that help teachers discuss current events in classrooms. In the podcast, she touches on the unique challenges and rewards of creating unbiased, fact-checked materials that engage young minds in meaningful discussions about global issues.
At the heart of this is ensuring that students’ voices are heard, a guiding principle at KAS.
Thank you Stephanie Young for a fascinating discussion!
