King Alfred Society: All parents are encouraged to be a member of the Society whilst they have a child at the school. Membership entitles you to take part in the running of the Society, attend and vote at the Annual General meeting and elect or stand for Council. The annual family subscription of £30 a year will be added to the Autumn Term fee. We agree to be members of the Society and to receive information from the Society by electronic means and/or the website. *

Photographic Use: We use photographs of the students participating in school activities and events on the school website, in the school newsletters, school documents and prospectus. In addition, some activities are photographed and posted on KAS social media: Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Over the Counter Medicines: I give my permission for suitably qualified teaching staff to administer over-the-counter medicines such as paracetamol, antihistamine, travel sickness tablets and diarrhoea relief, if necessary, and agree to provide any such medications in a sealed bag before the trip, together with detailed instructions. *

Day Trips and Offsite Activities: to include: All educational visits taking part during the school day and Off-site events, such as sporting fixtures, both during and outside of the school day. Biometric Use: The school uses finger print recognition to allow students in Year 7 and above to identify themselves when accessing the school.
