King Alfred Society: All parents are encouraged to be a member of the Society whilst they have a child at the school. Membership entitles you to take part in the running of the Society, attend and vote at the Annual General meeting and elect or stand for Council. The annual family subscription of £30 a year will be added to the Autumn Term fee. Photographic Use: We use photographs of the students participating in school activities and events on the school website, in the school newsletters, school documents and prospectus. In addition, some activities are photographed and posted on KAS social media: Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Over the Counter Medicines: I give my permission for suitably qualified teaching staff to administer over-the-counter medicines such as paracetamol, antihistamine, travel sickness tablets and diarrhoea relief, if necessary, and agree to provide any such medications in a sealed bag before the trip, together with detailed instructions. *

Day Trips and Off-site Activities (includes all educational visits taking part during the school day and off-site events, such as sporting fixtures, both during and outside of the school day): I agree to my child taking part in visits/trips for the duration of their time at The King Alfred School and agree to their participation in any/all of the activities involved. I acknowledge the need for my child to demonstrate good conduct and responsible behaviour during trips and activities. I also agree that individual trips up to a cost of £50 will automatically be added to my termly invoice. Separate consent will be sought for any excursions costing more than £50. *
