Sporting Success for KAS Students

Congratulations to Louis in Year 11 and Maddie in Year 13 who have both had fantastic success in their chosen sports so far this academic year.
Earlier this term, Louis signed a scholarship at Arsenal Youth Academy for another year. And this story doesn’t just feature one member of the KAS Community, as Louis is pictured here with Per Mertesacker who is a KAS parent, ex pro and also head of Arsenal Academy. Louis said: “My teachers are supportive of my dream and the PE Department are obviously my biggest champions.”
Meanwhile, during the half term, Maddie was invited to join a development camp for the U18s Women’s Welsh Rugby Union squad ahead of the 6 Nations in the new year. Maddie said: “Alongside 30 or so other girls, I had the privilege to train at Christ College in Brecon and use their amazing facilities. Time was spent getting to know each other as a squad and it was intense but really rewarding and enjoyable.”
