Lockdown Portraits By Year 8

We’ve all seen a lot more of our own faces than we’re used to during lockdown (thanks Zoom!) but for our Year 8 artists this was a source of inspiration.
“The Y8 theme during lockdown has been Portraiture and Identity,” explains Head of Art Will Lewer. “Students have responded really creatively to a range of photography and digital briefs including; Reflections, Metamorphosis and using ‘found’ objects as a starting point for portraiture. We have really impressed seeing how creative and resourceful they have been working at home with few materials!”
