Our Sixth Form is often described as the highlight of the KAS experience. Our inspirational teachers cover 26 academic subjects, provide a rich variety of extra-curricular activities, and build a strong sense of community.
So that our students can fully reach their academic potential, maximise their enjoyment of school, and be well-prepared for the next stage of their journey, we believe that the current facilities need improvement. The time is now right to create a dedicated, modern and inspiring space which meets the specific needs of our Sixth formers.

Students, Staff and Council members have worked closely with Walters & Cohen architects to design the new building. Located on the site of three current Modern Foreign Languages classrooms, the reconfigured building will include a welcoming common room with a sheltered outdoor terrace, a modern seminar room, a cutting-edge careers library, and a state-of the-art Sixth form study area.

2023 will be our 125th Anniversary; such moments are the perfect opportunity to honour our past, but also to look to our future. In light of this, we have created a new five year strategic plan underpinned by our educational vision. This includes exciting proposals for the KAS campus, of which the new Sixth Form centre will be one part. We will be consulting on these plans with parents and students over the next few months.
“The Sixth form is that crucial stepping off point from the secure environment of school into the wider world. This exciting new centre will play a key role in supporting that transition, and in enabling all our students to thrive during the sixth form, and beyond.” Robert Lobatto, Head
