There are usually between 10 - 14 places available in Year 7 each year. We are looking for a mixed ability intake, in line with our ethos. We hold an assessment day in the November prior to entry (in Y6).
Those already registered with the school and on the waiting list are contacted in the spring of the year prior to the entry year and will be asked to fill in the Year 7 Entry Application form, for updated information. Other students are invited to apply. Please see timings for September 2020 entry and how to apply, below.
The Assessment Day
The assessment day will consist of small group interviews; team based indoor and outdoor activities; a creative writing assessment; and computerised assessments in verbal, non-verbal and numerical ability. After the assessment day a shortlist of applicants are invited with their parents to meet with the Head of Upper School and Head of Year 7 & transition.
