The 128th Annual General Meeting of The King Alfred School Society (KASS or The Society) will take place at 7pm on 17 March 2026 in the Main Hall.
The AGM will be the last AGM for Robert and to mark the occasion we will be hearing from him on his reflections on KAS from the last 10 years. The AGM will also give you an opportunity to hear what has been happening in the school, and The Society, across a range of topics.
The agenda for the AGM and minutes of last year’s AGM can be found below.
Now is also your chance to stand to become a member of Council (the school’s governing body). Nomination forms and details of the election process can also be found below.
Should you wish to contact any member of Council for further information, you can do so using contact forms which are available here.
The deadline for nominations to be returned to Finance is 9am on Thursday 12 February 2026. In line with the school, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment, and welcome nominations from groups that are currently underrepresented. Please note that to be nominated, you must be a member of The King Alfred School Society.
Please note, the expected term of a Council member is four years, with the potential to be re-elected at the end of that term.
The Report and Accounts for the 12 months ending 31 August 2025 will be available on this page after 10 February 2026. If you wish to receive a hard copy of all or any documents referred to in this letter, this year and going forward, please email communications@kingalfred.org.uk.
Each Society member is entitled to appoint a person as their proxy to exercise all or any of their rights to attend and to speak and to vote at the AGM. A Proxy Form for this purpose can be found below. Completed Proxy Forms must be returned to Finance or emailed to carolinea@kingalfred.org.uk no later than 7pm on Friday 13 March 2026.
