Profession: Serial Entrepreneur in Technology companies

About: I am an executive and serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in starting, funding and managing complex projects and companies. Over the last two decades, I’ve helped start several companies and had directly overseen the fund-raising,  product development and sales of hundreds of millions of dollars. I serve on the board of directors and advisory boards of several companies and non-profits. I’ve published extensively in leading academic and industry journals, and have presented my work all over the world. I have consulted for Global 500 companies like Toyota, and am active in angel investing. For community work, I was recruited by the NYC Economic Development Council to serve as a mentor in the NYC Venture Fellows program, and am a member of the advisory board of the University of the People.

I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Philosophy, Magna Cum Laude, from Tel-Aviv University, and an M.A. from New York University. I earned my PhD at Cornell University for work on Science and Technology studies, and I am also a fellow at The Information Society Project at the Yale Law where I have done Post-doctoral work.
