28th November 17
The KAS Free the Children voluntary initiative is working with the Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation to help bring a little seasonal cheer to some North London families in need.
During term time these children receive at least one hot meal a day at school. When the schools are closed for holidays, many of these children struggle to have enough to eat and for many of them there won’t be a present for them on Christmas day.
This is where the wonderful KAS community comes in. We are starting to collect non-perishable foods and presents from Monday 20 November and will continue to do so until the end of this term.
We would be grateful for any donations added to the pink bins outside the Main Hall. AWTF will collect the items, assemble Christmas parcels and deliver them to local children.
