International Enrichment

The King Alfred School believes strongly that education is not confined to just the classroom. Different departments in the school regularly go on international visits but there are also four regular trips that run every year or, in the case of Cuba, bi-annually. Namibia and Sri Lanka are excursions in which students are encouraged to fundraise in order to help schools in other countries. The China and Cuba trips are chiefly about showing students what happens in other countries that have different political or social systems than ours.
