A Level Business Studies
Board: AQA
Teacher: Ruth Draper
Business Studies is a popular A-level subject which provides a good understanding for the many business university courses as well as practical skills useful in future work. The subject draws its theoretical knowledge from a range of other subjects including Economics, Psychology, Sociology and Law.
These are examined in the context of work situations which cover an extensive range of industries from small family businesses to large international concerns. There is an opportunity to take part in extra curricular activities such as ProShare and work towards the chartered institute for securities and investment certificate (an entry level banking qualification).
