Welcome To ICT

Welcome to the Information Communication Technology web site. It is here that you will find out about what goes on in the King Alfred ICT labs.

There are two ICT teachers that teach every class from reception up to Year 13. Kat is the Head of Department and Tony who is not. The ICT web site was designed with 3 purposes in mind.

1. To give parents an idea as to what their children are being taught throughout their time at KAS. This information is contained within the specifications and schemes of work that we provide for each year group.

2. To give students that are considering taking GCSE or A levels in ICT an idea of what is involved and what type of skills that you should gain by the time you leave the course.

3. To showcase some of the work that gets done in the classroom but is quite tricky to bring home to show - like flash animations, image processing and movies.
