Lower School ICT

Reception and Year 1 students have 1 hour ICT time each week. The class is split into 2 groups and they they change over after 30 minutes To save having to cross the road Ivy wood students are taught in the ICT suite in the Design and Technology building. Year 2 upwards have 40 minutes to an hour timetabled every week. Due to workstation numbers we can only take half the class at a time so they are normally split into 2 groups and alternate each week.

The ICT department base our skills development loosely on the National Curriculum with subject matter being tailored to suit the differing needs of the students.
