King Alfred School is an informal independent day school situated on the edge of Hampstead Heath in London. With students from Reception age through to a flourishing Sixth Form, we are a vibrant and friendly community where the emphasis, both academically and socially, is on discovering and maximising the potential of each child.

A leafy corner of the King Alfred School grounds became a building site this week as construction started on The Village Project. YR8s began building the huts that they will live in for a week on school grounds. The KAS Boating Club has started sailing training for staff aiming at equipping teachers with the sailing skills needed to become skippers/instructors.
